FWD Group Holdings Limited (“FWD Group” or “the company”) today hosted The Hon John KC Lee, GBM, SBS, PDSM, PMSM, The Chief Executive, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China at its PT FWD Insurance Indonesia (“FWD Indonesia”) offices in Jakarta.

The Chief Executive was received by Richard Li Tzar Kai, Chairman of Pacific Century Group, Professor Frederick Ma, GBS, JP, FWD Group Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Binayak Dutta, FWD Group Managing Director Emerging Markets, and Group Chief Distribution Officer.

FWD Indonesia was established in 2015 with a focus on digital and product innovation and has operated on a paperless and cashless basis since inception.

Separately, FWD Group also holds a 39.8% minority investment in PT Asuransi BRI Life (“BRI Life”), the life insurance arm of the leading retail bank in Indonesia, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (“BRI”). BRI Life ranked number 2 on a licensed entity basis and number 1 in bancassurance by new business sales in Indonesia¹.
