FWD Group acquisition of AIG Fuji Life completes and heralds a new beginning for Fuji Life

Following FWD Group’s (“FWD”) acquisition of AIG Fuji Life Insurance Company, Ltd. in April 2017, the company was today officially renamed FWD Fuji Life Insurance Company, Ltd. (“FWD Fuji Life”), after approval by the relevant regulatory bodies.

Since its launch in 1996, Fuji Life has always approached business from its customers’ point of view, developing and providing unique products and services designed to meet customer needs. Going forward, FWD Fuji Life will combine more than two decades of Fuji Life’s expertise in Japan with the advanced technologies and fresh ideas brought by FWD, one of the fastest growing insurers in Asia.

FWD Fuji Life will create new customer experiences by providing unique and easy-to-understand products and services in Japan as it strives to achieve its vision to change the way people feel about insurance.
