FWD Group, the insurance arm of Pacific Century Group, today announced the appointment of the Hon. Ronald Arculli GBM, CVO, GBS, OBE, JP as Chairman of the Board of FWD Group

FWD Group, the insurance arm of Pacific Century Group, today announced the appointment of the Hon. Ronald Arculli GBM, CVO, GBS, OBE, JP as Chairman of the Board of FWD Group. Ronald brings with him extensive experience in the private and public sectors, complementing the strong bench strength of the management team at FWD.

Ronald is currently the Senior Partner of King & Wood Mallesons, a leading international law firm based in Asia. With his long and distinguished record of public service, Ronald’s continuous contributions to business and commerce in Hong Kong and internationally over the years have brought him widespread recognition and respect.

Ronald was a former Member of Hong Kong’s Legislative Council (1988-2000) and Executive Council (2005-2012), and former Steward (1992-2006) and Chairman (2002-2006) of The Hong Kong Jockey Club. He was former Chairman of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (2006–2012), and former Chairman (2010–2012) and board member (2008–2012) of the World Federation of Exchanges. Ronald continues to serve as a Trustee of the IFRS Foundation. He is also a member of the board of West Kowloon Cultural District Authority, and currently Chairs the Hong Kong Arts Festival, the Advisory Committee of Social Ventures Hong Kong and Common Purpose Charitable Foundation Limited, Hong Kong.
