FWD Group today announced the appointment of Tim Oliver as Group Chief Commercial Officer (“CCO”). The appointment marks the establishment of FWD Group’s leadership team bringing together eight industry experts and sector specialists who will strengthen FWD’s position and help build the business as FWD looks to become a leading pan-Asian insurer.
As CCO, Tim will lead FWD Group’s functions in marketing strategy, brand and communications, as well as drive FWD’s effort to lead the market with innovative, customer-led propositions. Each member of FWD Group’s leadership team has over 20 years’ of experience in the financial services sector, with Tim bringing more than 24 years of senior management experience in insurance and consumer banking across Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Tim joins FWD Group from Aegon NV Asia, where he was Chief Executive Officer Asia of Aegon’s Direct and Affinity Marketing Group and the Transamerica Life Bermuda operations.
