Dear team,
At FWD, we believe in acting with honesty and integrity, and in speaking up when we feel that something may not be quite right. We encourage you to speak to your immediate manager, the Compliance team, or the HR team in the first instance about any concerns that you may have.
In some situations, we understand that you might not always feel comfortable using these channels, which is why whistleblower reporting is an option open to everyone at FWD.
To reinforce our whistleblower reporting process, we have partnered with a third-party provider called Convercent. Their service means you can report in good faith and without the fear of retaliation any concerns you have at anytime 24/7, all year-round.
You can use Convercent to make a report on any concerns such as potential misconduct, conflict of interest, bribery, or any other matter that does not appear in line with our Code of Ethics of Business Conduct. You can also ask questions on ethics or compliance issues if you are uncomfortable speaking to your compliance team directly about this, and also check the status of your reports.
If you prefer you can choose to remain anonymous.
The new Speak Up lines give you an easy and confidential way to make a report and we encourage you to use this whistleblower service whenever needed, but talking with your manager, the Compliance or HR teams can often be a good first step.
Please refer to our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct for guidance on making an informed decision in circumstance requiring ethical judgment.
Thank you for helping us continue to ensure we Do the Right Things Right at FWD.
Best wishes,
Phong
